Notes: Chamomile was consumed during the Revolution as a patriotic alternative to paying the British tea tax. Tasting of fresh apples, chamomile is a fragrant, caffeine-free tea.
Earl Grey -
Notes: Black Tea blend with a distinctive flavor and aroma derived from the addition of oil extracted from the rind of the bergamot orange, a fragrant citrus fruit.
History: Earl Grey was introduced in England in the early 1800's, having been presented by an envoy on his return from China. The recipe was discovered and went into production by the 1830's, and was named after 2nd Earl Grey - British Prime Minister in the 1830's.
English Breakfast -
Notes: A malty blend of Assam (India), Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and Kenyan black teas, English Breakfast is the most popular of blended black teas and the most common in English tea culture. The blend was invented to be a rich, hearty black tea which is complemented well by cream and sugar.
History: English Breakfast was invented in 1843, and was popularized by Queen Victoria.
Mint Medley -
Notes: Broken orange pekoe black tea leaves infuse crisp and naturally sweet tea liquors. These dark tones are infused with the refreshing flavors of fresh peppermint. Serve hot or over ice.
