Our Next Adventure: Hamilton & Adams for Women

When we first started planning our assortment for Hamilton & Adams, we knew we wanted to appeal to as many people in our community as possible. While we were opening a men's shop, we were determined to offer gifts, curiosities, and even some apparel for women. Over the last three-and-a-half years, we've often been asked to open a shop just like ours, but for women. We’re thrilled to announce that the time has come.

Our neighbor Henrietta was one of the first to welcome us to the block, and she always offered to grab a cup of coffee for us when she passed by. After many years of business, she finally retired this past August. Her retail space around the corner on Fair Street shared a back wall with our shop, and it seemed like opportunity was knocking. Over the past month, we’ve been renovating this space to connect to our current location—two entrances, on two blocks, but one store!

So what will we carry? To start with, we’ll continue to offer our own brand of goods. As of today, you can shop our expanded line of women’s T-shirts here and in our existing space. We hope to grow and expand this line, so don't be shy with your feedback, ideas, and requests! 

As we expand our collections for women, we’ll continue to work with our existing brands, because those relationships are so important to us. At launch, we’ll offer women’s apparel from Faherty, United by Blue, The Normal Brand, Save the Duck, Alternative Apparel, and (new to us) Just Black Denim. 

Over the next 10 days or so, we'll be setting up the new space for the big opening. We'll launch online for digital shopping on Tuesday 11/10, and the new women’s shop will be ready for business by Saturday 11/14.
