Whether you're a beginner or an experienced hiker, the Catskills are full of opportunities for you to hit the trails.
For you novice's, we suggest that you check our these 3 top spots:
- Minnewaska State Park (a true gem)
- Overlook Mountain (a bit moderate, but SO WORTH IT)
- Ashokan Rail Trail (very easy!)
For those looking to become more seasoned (or find something more challenging), we suggest you head over to the 3500 Club . Founded in 1962, this organization is focused on fostering interest in hiking the Catskills. With 35 peaks over 3500 feet in elevation, the Catskills provide year round vistas and outdoor exposure for all levels of ability and experience.
