A Spark of an Idea

One year ago today we went to lunch and came home with the big idea to starting our own business and to do it in Kingston!

So, we found a curious retail space, signed a lease, THEN wrote the business plan and set out to build our vision.  Our goal was to create a special place where people could come together, congregate, socialize and shop.

Four months later we launched Hamilton & Adams as a brand, retail shop and online business.   Designed with the intention to bring the Upstate lifestyle to life for Hudson Valley residents and its many visitors from around the world. Nine months later we cannot thank the local community enough for embracing our vision, the weekenders for putting us on their to-do lists and the many visitors from places near and far who come up to explore the Hudson Valley.

This Small Business Saturday we encourage you to come out and explore the many entrepreneurial establishments across Kingston and the Hudson Valley, and while you’re out, come on by and check out 32 John Street and see how our big idea has come to life.

Our motto at Hamilton & Adams is to stay curious about the world around you. This holiday season we encourage everyone to be open minded, #staycurious and find your spark of inspiration in the world and make it happen.
