Into the Woods : Fall 2022

Some would say that Upstate New York is at it's best in the Fall Season, and we honestly would be hard pressed to disagree with this statement. The bounty of the harvest, the warm days and cool nights, the colors of nature (oh the leaves!).  New York presents her best this season.

Our inspiration this season isn't revolutionary, but rather a direct appreciation of the area we live in.  Into the woods means just that- nature here we come.

Favorite pieces of the season:

Our newest product is the Stillwater Shirt Jacket. Made exclusively for us in Los Angeles, this style is available in limited quantities and will sell out quickly.  Available in 11.21 oz. fleece and 6.41 oz. cotton plaid flannel, this piece will be your new favorite of the season.

We've also expanded our assortments for both Marine Layer and Alex Mill.  Marine Layer just dropped an amazing retro inspired collection that you do not want to miss (Think Marin Country Music Festival in 1967☮️).  Alex Mill's fall collection just released as well, and it's full of easy corduroy dressing, men's flannels and soft sweaters for her. As you could expect, there's also plenty of jumpsuits for everyone.

Things to do:

We'll publish our Fall Trail Guide later this season, but here's some highlights to get you started:

StayGetaway House (Western Catskills).  The host of our Fall Photo Shoot, this location in Roscoe NY is ideal for a few nights away any time of the year.

Discover:

The World of Hort And Pott

We are gardeners, designers, creators and educators…And we are passionate about helping you embrace the seasons and decorate your space in the new natural way. We create and curate botanical driven design that re-imagines the relationships between people and nature. (Plan your trip in advance)

Dine:

Grab a Sandwich at Circle W Market. In the summer of 1908, Circle W first opened its doors. A traditional country general store, it aimed to serve the needs of a growing population of vacationers, quarrymen, landscape painters, and mill workers. The small Catskill hamlet of Palenville had become famed for the many waterfalls in its vicinity, including Kaaterskill Falls and Fawn's Leap, its mountain views, artist retreats, and as the setting for Washington Irving's Rip Van Winkle.

Do:

Catskills Rail Explorer.  Experience the magic of the Ulster & Delaware Railroad as you travel alongside the Esopus Creek through the beautiful woods of the Catskill Mountains. Under a canopy of maple and birch, with the river rushing by and the mountains in the distance, this tour is an unforgettable experience.

Yours in Curiosity,

Andrew + Clark
