Many people wonder what MOVEMBER is all about, and rightfully so as it is a relatively newer cause. The mission however is clear: Change the face of men’s health
There are a few versions of exactly what year and where in Australia the origins truly are. Regardless, we can thank our mates from the land down under for kick starting the awareness and movement to help with rarely talked about men’s health issues. In 2003, two ‘Mo Bros’ Travis Garone and Luke Slattery founded the ‘Movember Foundation’ That year they managed to get 30 ‘Mo Bros’ to grow a Stache and help raise awareness. Fast forward to 2017, there are over 5 Million members of the foundation and they have raised of $750M worldwide.
