Native Tree Guide Camp Flag

In no way do we consider this a comprehensive list of the Native Trees of New York. Selecting 4 major (and favorites) was a task itself.

  • White Maple
  • White Pine
  • Eastern Red Cedar
  • Bur Oak

We admit it won't take long to memorize this list, so we'd recommend spending some time over on this resource from the department of Environmental Conservation.  As you're out exploring and #stayingcurious, look up, snap a pic pf a tree and make sure you can identify it.
