When I arrived at Cornell nearly 30 years ago, I never imagined I'd one day come back to Ithaca to open a store of my own.
But here we are.
Hamilton & Adams is now open on the Ithaca Commons, and for me, this one means a lot.
Ithaca was an important chapter in my life. It's where I met incredible people, discovered new things and began developing my own point of view about style, retail and community. Coming back all these years later feels both surreal and a little like coming home.
Clark and I started Hamilton & Adams in Kingston in 2017 around a simple idea: create a place where people could discover things we genuinely love—great clothes, interesting brands, unexpected finds and products with a sense of place. It's also where Upstate & Chill began.
Now we get to bring that spirit to Ithaca.
But what I'm most excited about isn't what's on the racks. It's becoming part of this community again.
Whether you're a student beginning your own Ithaca chapter, an alum coming back, a longtime local or a visitor discovering the Finger Lakes, I hope you'll stop in, say hello and find something you love.
Thank you to everyone who has already welcomed us. Being back here means more to me than you probably know.
See you on the Commons.
