It's time for a Winter Adventure

January 23, 2021

January brings us a time to renew and explore. We're taking the opportunity to do that here in the Catskills and across the Hudson Valley.  From winter sports, to warm spots for lunch and winter hiking, there's much to do this season.

Let's hit the slopes shall we? The three biggest areas to ski in our area are Hunter, Windham and Belleayre mountains.  All have different Covid requirements, so make sure you do you research and plan in advance.

If you head to Windham, make sure to stop into Briars and Brambles for some books to read the rest of winter.

We're sure your tired of cooking as much as we are, so let's get some food to go shall we? We also are keenly aware of how hard it is to keep track of what's open, who has indoor dining and who is doing to go/takeaway (let alone what day of week everyone's open).  Your best bet is to follow your favorite spots on the social media accounts, but then we recommend this group on facebook.  The other place to find or check a great food spot is on this page on Instagram.

Our last winter adventure involves all the winter hiking and year round trails. We previously wrote a //blog post about our favorite hiking spots, check that out for options. A new favorite spot is the recently finished section of the Empire State Rail Trail that runs through the Hutton Brickyards.

This winter we're committed to having as much adventure time as we can.  Our health, and the health of our small business community is counting on it.

We'll see you out there,

Andrew + Clark
